How the Rx.com prescription discount card saves you money
Prescription prices can change a lot from one pharmacy to the next, even in the same town. The free Rx.com discount card lets you skip the guesswork and pay the lower cash price at the counter. It works on both brand-name and generic medications and can be used by anyone — there is no signup, no membership, and nothing to pay Rx.com.
The card is not insurance and it does not replace it. Instead, you can use it whenever the cash price is lower than your insurance copay, or to save on medications your plan does not cover. Because it never expires, you can keep it on your phone or in your wallet and use it for every prescription, for your whole family.
Who can use the discount card?
Everyone can qualify, regardless of age, income, or health history. The card is accepted at more than 60,000 pharmacies across the United States, including Guam and Puerto Rico, at chains like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, and Albertsons, as well as thousands of independent neighborhood pharmacies. Some restrictions apply to certain featured brand medications for people enrolled in government programs such as Medicare or Medicaid.
Discount card or digital coupon — which should I use?
Both get you the same kind of savings. The physical discount card has codes that stay the same, so it is easy to hand to your pharmacist and save to your profile. Digital coupons update to find the best available price at a wide range of pharmacies. If you want today's lowest price on a specific medication, search for your drug and enter your ZIP code to compare pharmacies near you and pull up a free coupon.
