What is Mucinex D ?

Mucinex D is an over-the-counter medication used to relieve nasal and sinus congestion, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the airways. It combines two active ingredients: guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps loosen and thin mucus, and pseudoephedrine, a decongestant that helps shrink swollen nasal passages. Mucinex D is typically used for symptomatic relief in conditions such as colds and allergies.
