What is Nafcillin Sodium?
Nafcillin sodium is a semi-synthetic, narrow-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic of the penicillin class, primarily used to treat infections caused by penicillinase-producing staphylococci. Administered intravenously or intramuscularly, this antibiotic is especially useful in treating systemic infections including septicemia, endocarditis, and other severe bacterial infections.
