What is Prestalia?

Prestalia is a prescription medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) to lower the risk of cardiovascular events such as strokes and heart attacks. It combines two active ingredients, perindopril arginine, an ACE inhibitor, and amlodipine besylate, a calcium channel blocker, which work together to relax blood vessels and improve blood flow. This combination allows for better management of blood pressure in patients for whom treatment with either component alone is not sufficient.
