What is Povidone-Iodine?

- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Anxiety, nervousness, or agitation.
Warnings
- Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Tell your doctor if you have had a reaction to a topical antibacterial cleanser in the past.
- This medicine may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Wear sunscreen. Do not use sunlamps or tanning beds.
