Tobramycin comes in the form of a powder for injection. It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin kills susceptible bacteria by blocking bacterial protein synthesis. You should not use Tobramycin if you are pregnant as it could harm the unborn baby. Common Tobramycin side effects may include fever, headache, rash, noisy breathing and an altered sense of taste.
