What is Yupelri?
Yupelri (revefenacin) is a prescription bronchodilator medication used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Administered as a once-daily inhaled solution through a nebulizer, Yupelri works by relaxing the muscles around the airways in the lungs, helping to ease breathing.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Blurred vision, eye pain, seeing halos around objects
- Change in how much or how often you urinate, difficult or painful urination
Warnings
- Do not use this medicine for a sudden COPD attack. Make sure you always have your rescue medicine with you to treat sudden symptoms. Tell your doctor right away if your condition gets worse or you need to use your other medicine more often than usual.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, bladder problems, or trouble urinating.
- This medicine may cause paradoxical bronchospasm (increased trouble breathing), which can be life-threatening.
