How Much Is Compounded Semaglutide in 2026? Holiday Pricing Guide

What compounded semaglutide costs through Rx.com at regular prices, what changes now through December 1 with code BF2026, and how to tell which plan length actually fits your budget.

Medically informed guide · Updated October 2026 · 8 min read

Through Rx.com, compounded semaglutide costs $175 for one month, or as little as $99 a month when you pay $1,188 up front for a 12-month plan. Now through December 1, 2026, code BF2026 takes 20% off every plan, which brings the 12-month plan to $950.40 paid up front, about $79 a month.

  • Regular prices: $175 (1 month), $495 (3 months), $875 (6 months), $1,188 (12 months).
  • With code BF2026: $140, $396, $700 and $950.40 for the same plans.
  • Sale dates: now through Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Regular prices apply after that.
  • One flat price at every dose. Your price does not go up when your dose does.
  • The price covers the online provider visit, medication, injection supplies and cold-packed shipping.
  • Nothing is charged until a licensed provider approves you, and plans do not auto-renew.
Bottom line: The lowest monthly figure, about $79, only applies to the 12-month plan paid up front during the sale. If you are not ready to commit to a year, the 1-month and 3-month plans cost more per month but much less to start.

Compounded semaglutide prices at Rx.com

Rx.com sells compounded semaglutide by plan length, not by dose. You pick how many months you want to cover, and the price stays the same whether your provider prescribes a starting dose or a higher maintenance dose.

Every price in the table is paid once, up front, for the whole plan. The "per month" columns simply divide that total by the number of months so you can compare plans.

What changes with code BF2026

For Black Friday 2026, Rx.com is taking 20% off every compounded GLP-1 plan with code BF2026. The code is open to everyone. It is live now and ends on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, the day after Cyber Monday.

  • It applies to every plan length, from 1 month to 12 months.
  • It applies to compounded tirzepatide too. Our Black Friday tirzepatide guide has those numbers.
  • You enter it at checkout. Our step-by-step guide on how to use code BF2026 walks through it.
  • After December 1, regular prices apply.

💡 Not sure yet?

The code is live now, but there is no need to rush. You can read through the plans and take the weight-loss check to see whether treatment may fit you, then decide before the sale ends on December 1.

How the per-month price really works

The "$79 a month" figure you may see in Black Friday ads for our program is a monthly average, not a monthly bill. Here is what it means in practice:

  • You pay $950.40 once, at the start, for 12 months of treatment.
  • Medication ships every 3 months during that year.
  • There is no monthly charge after that first payment for the plan.
  • The plan does not auto-renew at the end of the 12 months.

That is a real saving if you plan to stay on treatment for a year. It is a bigger up-front payment than most people expect, though, so it is worth comparing all four plan lengths. Our guide to monthly vs 12-month GLP-1 plans walks through who each one suits.

What the price includes

One price covers the pieces most people need to start and stay on weekly semaglutide injections:

  • An online visit with a licensed U.S. provider who reviews your health history.
  • Compounded semaglutide at whatever dose your provider prescribes, for the plan length you choose.
  • Injection supplies.
  • Cold-packed shipping to your door.

There are no separate visit fees, dose upcharges or shipping charges added at checkout. For a fuller breakdown, see what's included at $79 a month.

Costs that are not part of the plan

A fair price comparison looks at your whole cost, not just the medication. Some things the plan does not cover:

  • Lab work, if your own doctor or the provider asks for it.
  • Other medicines, such as an anti-nausea prescription from your regular doctor.
  • Sharps disposal containers, if your area requires a specific type.
  • Ongoing care for other conditions such as diabetes or blood pressure, which stays with your regular doctor.

When another option may cost you less

Holiday pricing is only a good deal if it beats what you could pay elsewhere. Before you buy anything, check these paths:

  • Your insurance. Some commercial plans cover brand-name GLP-1 medicines for weight management, and a manufacturer savings card can bring the copay as low as $25 a month for eligible people with commercial coverage.
  • Medicare. The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, which started July 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2027, sets a $50 copay on certain GLP-1 drugs for eligible Part D members.
  • Manufacturer self-pay programs. Novo Nordisk's NovoCare Pharmacy sells its brand-name semaglutide pen at $199 a month for a new patient's first 2 months (offered through December 31, 2026), then $349 a month. Its semaglutide pill starts at $149 a month at the lowest dose.

If you have good coverage, one of those routes may be the smarter choice, and we would rather you know that. Our guide to the first-month cost of GLP-1 treatment compares the starting costs side by side.

What compounded semaglutide is

Compounded semaglutide is made by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient with a prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, which means the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold.

The FDA declared the semaglutide shortage resolved on February 21, 2025. A 503A pharmacy may still compound semaglutide for an individual patient when a prescriber documents a clinical need, such as a dose or formulation change. The FDA also warns about unapproved GLP-1 products sold online, especially products labeled "for research use only" and salt forms such as semaglutide sodium or semaglutide acetate. Our compounded semaglutide safety guide covers what to look for.

Getting treatment through Rx.com

Rx.com offers compounded semaglutide from $99/month on a 12-month plan, with an online provider visit, medication, supplies and cold shipping included. It is one flat price at every dose, and no insurance is needed. Now through December 1, 2026, code BF2026 brings the 12-month plan to $950.40, or $79.20 a month.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. A licensed provider reviews your health history to decide whether semaglutide is right for you, and nothing is charged until you are approved. Treatment is not available in Alaska, Louisiana or Mississippi. If you are not sure where to start, our weight-loss check takes a few minutes.

🚨 When to Contact Your Healthcare Provider

Call your provider right away if any of these happen. Call 911 for trouble breathing, fainting or severe pain.

  • Severe belly pain that will not go away, with or without vomiting, especially if it spreads to your back: possible pancreatitis.
  • Pain in the upper right belly, fever, or yellow skin or eyes: possible gallbladder problem.
  • Vomiting or diarrhea that keeps you from drinking fluids: risk of dehydration and kidney injury.
  • Swelling of the face, lips or throat, hives or trouble swallowing: possible allergic reaction.
  • A lump in the neck, hoarseness or trouble swallowing: tell your provider promptly.
