What is Terazosin Hcl?
If you have symptoms of prostate enlargement (BPH), your doctor might prescribe terazosin. The drug relaxes the muscles near the prostate and bladder allowing for the easier flow of urine. Terazosin also lowers blood pressure, so it may be useful in treating men who have both BPH and high blood pressure.

- Do not stop using this medicine without asking your doctor. If you have not taken the medicine for several days, you will need to use a lower dose when you start taking it again.
- Your doctor will need to check your progress at regular visits while you are using this medicine. Be sure to keep all appointments.
- This medicine may make you dizzy or drowsy. Avoid driving, using machines, or doing anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert.
