Side Effects
- Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
- Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, body aches
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness
- It is not safe to take this medicine during pregnancy. It could harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant.
- Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, heart failure, low blood pressure, or porphyria.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Increased risk for heart or blood vessel problemsSerious skin reactions (including toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, acute-generalized exanthematous pustulosis), which may happen after treatment has stoppedDrug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS), which may damage organs including the liver, kidney, or heartLiver problemsInjection site reactions, including purple glove syndromeHigher blood sugar levels
- This medicine may make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive or do anything that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you.
