¿Qué es Vosevi?
Vosevi es un medicamento antiviral utilizado para tratar la hepatitis C crónica en adultos con infecciones de genotipo 1-6 que previamente han sido tratados con un régimen de VHC que contiene un inhibidor de NS5A o tienen infecciones de genotipo 1a o 3 y han sido previamente tratados con un régimen que contiene sofosbuvir sin un inhibidor de NS5A. Es una tableta de dosis fija que contiene sofosbuvir, velpatasvir y voxilaprevir, los cuales trabajan juntos para inhibir la replicación viral y reducir la cantidad de virus de hepatitis C en el cuerpo. Vosevi generalmente se prescribe como un tratamiento oral diario durante un período de 12 semanas.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Dark urine, pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes
- Fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness
Warnings
- Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Increased risk of reactivation of hepatitis BWorsening of liver problemsSlow and uneven heartbeat when taken with amiodarone
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, other liver disease (including hepatitis B), or heart disease.
